Daily Skin Care Products

Posted on Sep 22 in Chic, Sassyby

I am sure I am not the first one to tell you this but washing your face two times a day is possibly the best thing that you can do for yourself. I strongly recommend that you use products that are best suited for your skin type.

If you are one of those gals that is searching for a no-hassle regimen then l have news for you. Any skin care regimen will require you to take that extra time for yourself. I used to have all these fancy washes (not that I don’t use them) but I found that I still liked the ‘over the counter’ products that are also recommended by dermatologists. The upside is that these products work just as great too! So really, it is a win-win!

So make sure you stock up on a good cleanser, and moisturizer for both day and night. Of course, you cannot forget your make-up remover for those of you who use it on a daily basis. Here is my list of both the ‘over the counter’ products and the salon/spa brand too:

Cetaphil Daily Face Wash: I have been using this product for years and I love the way it makes my skin feel after I wash my face. Although, if you are a everyday makeup girl then I suggest you invest in a good makeup remover first, and then follow up with this face wash. It has a light fragrance and your face will not feel over-dry. You can find these products at any major retailer or at your local drugstore.

Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash: I tried this out a few times and I have no complaints except for the fact that they don’t make the product size as large as Cetaphil. If Cetaphil does not workout for you then try Purpose. It is mild and works just as effectively. Bonus: It won the Allure Beauty Award too!

Epicuren: This brand also has some good face washes and is used by estheticians for facial’s as well. I used to use this product when I had some of those acne breakout phases (yes, we all get them I know). I personally liked the gentle acne wash and the scrub. It is all preference though, although you can only find these at a spa/salon and sold by a licensed estheticians.

This is of course my short list, stay tuned for more on skin care coming soon!
