My Five Beauty Product Essentials

Posted on Sep 22 in Chic, Sassy, Working Girlby

So there goes the age old story of what one must have or not have when it comes to beauty products. I am a firm believer of investing in yourself. After all, if you don’t take care of yourself then who will?

This is my must-have list for any girl that is looking for simple but effective ways to looking great! Don’t take my word for it – I just really believe in these products! These are a few of my favorites that I want to share with you:

Cetaphil Daily Face Wash

I have been using this product for years and I love the way it makes my skin feel after I use it. Although, if you are a everyday makeup user then I suggest you invest in a good makeup remover first, then use this face wash. It has a light fragrance and your face will not feel over-dry. You can find these products at any major retailer or at your local drugstore. Bonus: It is also recommended by dermatologists!

Shu Uemura Eye Shadow

I fell in love with this product a few years ago and I cannot part with it!! A few of my favorites are their gold shimmer and nude matte color palettes. Was it worth the hefty investment? Absolutely. It is a shame that they shut down their US boutiques but you can still purchase their products online. The main reason why I love this brand is because the entire product line is catered to practically every skin tone.

MAC Viva Glam VI Lip Glass

This is one of my favorites and I carry it with me all the time! I prefer to use this shade because it is the perfect hue of color that works well with every skin tone.

Estee Lauder Retractable Eyeliner

I had been in search for a pencil eyeliner that would stay put. If you are in search of an eyeliner that will not smudge, or make you look like you have a set of raccoon eyes from a night out on the town than this product is for you. I would recommend this to anyone that wants the look of a liquid eyeliner in pencil form.

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler

This brand deserves more than 1 shout out. I have tried other eyelash curlers and not to say that they are bad, but I am a brand loyalist. I used this a few years ago, only because I was one of those late bloomers when it came to using eyelash curlers. I know, go figure. Even though the US stores have shut down, I know you can still find this product at the Sephora online store.

Of course, these are just a few of my favorite products but the list keeps growing. What is your favorite product?

Till the next time!
